Medical Alley is bringing a special edition of our Innovation Showcase to Minneapolis this November, presented by title sponsor IDE Group.

The Showcase brings together top healthcare startups, investors, industry leaders, and strategic partners to accelerate the next generation of innovation. This year’s event features five selected early-stage companies participating, where one winner will be invited to present at IDE Group’s Building Better Futures for Health (BBFH) Challenge in Australia.

For over a decade, the BBFH Challenge has helped early-stage innovators move breakthrough ideas from concept to commercialization. 

How It Works

  1. Apply: U.S. early-stage companies submit applications by August 31, 2026.

  2. First Round: Ten selected companies participate in a virtual pitch and review session with Medical Alley & IDE Group.

  3. Medical Alley Showcase (Minneapolis | November 2026): Five finalists advance to present live to the Medical Alley community, gaining exposure to venture capital firms, corporate partners, and network connections facilitated through Medical Alley STARTS®.

  4. Advance to Sydney, Australia (March 2027): One winner from the Showcase will represent the U.S. at the BBFH Grand Finals during the MTAA MedTech Conference in Sydney, Australia.
